The role of Therapy Services Director is a critical position within the Allied Professional Hub, overseeing the operations and strategic direction of therapy services in Early Intervention or Special Schools.

This director leads a team of therapists and psychologists, working closely with the Director of the Allied Professional Hub to review strategic initiatives, ensure quality delivery of services, monitor service administration, manage resources, and foster collaboration internally and externally for the betterment of clients.

Critical Work Functions
  • Ensure Operational Efficiency and Service Quality
  • Develop work plans for departments, aligning them with organisational goals
  • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure adherence to service standards, performance indicators, and operating guidelines of departments and/or programmes
  • Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies for continuous enhancement
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead AP Team for a collaborative and person-centred / family centred approach to therapeutic planning, intervention, and evaluation, with the teaching team through coordinating the work of therapists to monitor deployment of interventions, progress of clients, and evaluation of outcomes
  • Plan and coordinate with Lead/Senior Teacher for scheduling case discussion and other activities for timely and effective assessment, planning, monitoring, and evaluation of cases
  • Manage caseload of therapists and psychologists as per guidelines and work plans
Balancing Change

Support Director in conceptualising, planning, and driving strategic initiatives that advance outcomes of the group, contributing to overall strategies of Rainbow Centre for achieving its mission and vision

Regularly review and revise strategies and tactics in response to internal and external developments, ensuring a responsive and agile strategic approach

Professional Development

Sponsor cultivation of agency's values, vision, and mission within the team

Work with Clinical Leads in development and implementation of structures and processes for professional and personal development of team members

Ensure quality of monitoring and supervision of team members meet standards of governing bodies and professions

Requirements
  • Recognised degree/Master in relevant discipline
  • Registered with AHPC or Singapore Psychological Society
  • Minimum 12 years post qualification experience, preferably working as an AP with persons with disabilities, with at least 5 years in a SPED setting
  • Demonstrated ability in administering programs and managing teams
  • Must be a Singaporean or PR
