Job Title:
Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for clients, including residents of the Home, respite cases, and Day Care Clients.
  • Participate in Individual Care Plan (ICP) discussions, case conferences, and meetings to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Compile and submit regular reports and statistics to the Director of Client Services.
  • Monitor and document client progress, reassessing and refining treatment plans as necessary.
  • Supervise Therapy Aides and assist in their skill development.
  • Enhance and develop Occupational Therapy activities to meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team in client assessments.
  • Maintain inventory records and coordinate equipment purchases, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Coordinate volunteer orientation, training, and social activities for Occupational Therapy areas.
  • Work with Social Services on programs such as craft-making, outings, and recreational activities.


Requirements:
  • Possess a recognized degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Hold full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council.
