Volunteer Community Coordinator

This role is responsible for arranging recruitment activities, matching volunteers to suitable programs and clients.
The ideal candidate should be adaptable, able to multitask, and work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Manage volunteer recruitment, coordination, and outreach (includes interviewing and screening processes).
- Develop and implement effective volunteer policies and procedures.
- Conduct recognition and engagement activities to boost volunteer morale.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures across all programs.
- Match the skills, experiences, and expectations of volunteers to suitable programs and clients.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of volunteer engagement, from recruitment to placement. This includes:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with current and potential volunteers.
- Creating engaging content and promotional materials to attract new volunteers.
- Designing and delivering training programs to equip volunteers with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Providing ongoing support and resources to ensure volunteer success.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this role include:
- Recruitment and retention of high-quality volunteers.
- Improved volunteer satisfaction and engagement levels.
- Increased productivity and efficiency in volunteer management.
