Trade Finance Operations Specialist.
As a Trade Finance Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the efficient processing and handling of Trade Finance products, ensuring all transactions and tasks are carried out in accordance with operating and compliance procedures. You will work closely with clients to manage queries effectively and provide solutions and recommendations on trade finance matters. Additionally, you will perform transaction monitoring, follow-up on end-to-end process handling for structured deals, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Degree holders with at least 3-5 years of working experience in Trade Finance Operations within a bank, preferably in Structured and Commodity Finance environment.
• Client service oriented with ability to exercise sound judgement on transaction monitoring and escalation of red flags.
• Proficient in SWIFT messages such as MT7xx, MT4xx, MT202, and MT103.
• Conversant and competent in application of URC522 and URR725.
• Good working knowledge of UCP600, ISBP, ISP98, and Incoterms would be an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to adapt to changing needs of organization and demands of internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively, independently, and as a team player.
