About the Role:
The Trade Finance Portfolio Specialist plays a vital role in supporting Relationship Managers to manage a portfolio of corporate clients. This position involves growth, trade finance transactions, and day-to-day client servicing.
Main Responsibilities:
- SUPPORT RELATIONSHIP MANAGERS IN MANAGING AND GROWING A PORTFOLIO OF HIGH-DEPOSIT CORPORATE CLIENTS.
- Assist in cross-selling bank solutions, including cash management and treasury services.
- Handle onboarding tasks such as account opening, maintenance, periodic reviews, KYC, CDD, AML, and risk profiling to meet internal compliance standards.
- Closely coordinate with RMs and internal stakeholders to ensure timely responses to client queries and smooth execution of trade transactions.
- Track and follow up on credit facility renewals, ensuring timely documentation and registration.
- Maintain daily trackers and follow up on outstanding items.
- Support ad hoc projects and team initiatives as assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree in Banking, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate banking or trade finance support roles.
- Familiarity with trade products and corporate banking operations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and Head Office.
