Job Description:

  • We are seeking a seasoned trade finance professional to join our team in handling the intricacies of international trade.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing receivables and payables for physical products trading transactions.
  • Issuance of Import LC and negotiation of Export LC is also a key aspect of this role.
  • Reviewing trade contracts, coordinating with Operations department on trade and shipment information, and following up on payment approvals are essential responsibilities.
  • Maintaining updated trade information in the system for month-end accounts closing and providing insights on receivables and payables for Treasury's cashflow planning are crucial tasks.
  • This role also involves ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Commerce, Maritime Studies, or Supply Chain is mandatory.
  • 2-3 years of experience in trade finance with good knowledge in Letter of Credit and ability to work within tight timelines is necessary.
