**Job Summary:**

The Product Manager will be responsible for driving the sales and profit targets for the related product groups at Tech Data Advanced Solutions (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. This role will involve creating business plans, developing sales enablement programs, and ensuring that the technical sales support teams are adequately trained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business plans for the vendor product group and associated services.
  • Create and execute sales enablement programs for Tech Data and partners.
  • Ensure that the technical sales support teams are appropriately trained to support the relevant product groups.
  • Develop and implement marketing programs to support product group objectives.
  • Collaborate with vendors and business partners to create joint initiatives.
  • Responsible for effective planning, including inventory management, inventory fulfillment, and inventory obsolescence minimization.
  • Implement business plans that achieve agreed vendor revenue targets and generate the planned profit outcomes.
  • Achieve revenue plans by brand and by market segment.
  • Coordinate the various functions within Tech Data to deliver the outcomes agreed in each product plan.
  • Ensure that executive business relations with vendor partners are of the highest order, proactive, and continually monitored.
  • Maintain and develop operational level vendor relationships.
  • Ensure a high level of safety awareness within the team to promote a safe working environment.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline by product group.
  • Measure and maintain critical product group performance data to ensure Tech Data meets its vendor commitments and leverages all commercial opportunities.
  • Business forecasting and business planning for product groups with vendors.
  • Provide various reports for commercial decision-making.
  • Be the advocate and leader for the relevant product groups in Tech Data and the advocate and leader for Tech Data within the relevant vendor community.
  • Provide direction, development, and support to ensure the sales team is performing at optimum levels for the relevant product group.
  • Deal effectively and efficiently with unsatisfactory performance and/or behavior within the team.
  • Provide an appropriate example of leadership to the wider organization.
  • Contribute as a member of the leadership team to the commercial 'well-being' and longevity of the business.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience within IT distribution.
  • Minimum education level required is a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Appropriate vendor product sales certifications.
  • Strong leadership attributes.
