Job Description

As a power station professional, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the station team to achieve optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Becoming a proactive member of the station team.
  • Supporting the Power Station Manager to meet contractual and technical requirements.
  • Liaising with operations and maintenance teams for long-term station performance tracking.
  • Preparing and updating monthly submissions for higher management and external stakeholders.
  • Reviewing past shutdown works and assisting in consolidating works for subsequent shutdowns.
  • Implementing practices, tools, and techniques for reliable and efficient power station operation.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the technical and economic feasibility of improvement projects.
  • Supporting the establishment and maintenance of O&M policies and procedures.
  • Participating in health, safety, and environmental practices/activities.
  • Participating in training and engagement of visitors, interns, new hires, and external staff.
  • Studying new technology and supporting technical research, trials, and proof of concepts.
  • Supporting technical process reviews and contractual inputs for relevant projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in mechanical or chemical/process engineering, preferably with knowledge of power generation/thermodynamics.
  • Understanding and knowledge of combined cycle power station thermodynamics, operational procedures, and maintenance practices.
  • Good understanding of power station engineering design and construction.
