Fire Systems Technician - Water Based
Job Description

This is a challenging position that requires the installation, maintenance, and repair of various water-based fire suppression systems. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a senior technician to inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot these complex systems.

The Fire Systems Technician – Water Based will perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Inspecting and maintaining dry, preaction, and wet fire suppression systems
  • Troubleshooting and repairing existing systems
  • Working with other technicians to develop and execute work plans
  • Collaborating with facilities management and engineers to identify materials needed for tasking

The ideal candidate will have NICET II certification in water-based systems and a minimum of four years of experience installing, testing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining fire protection systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • NICET II certification in water-based systems
  • Minimum four years of documented experience in fire protection systems
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex systems
  • Ability to read and interpret design drawings, specifications, and manufacturer's guidelines
