Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Bancassurance Product Specialist to drive the growth of our bancassurance business in the region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies that meet the needs of our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create annual product plans that align with regional growth ambitions and support the development of bancassurance-friendly products.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform product design and pricing decisions.
  • Work closely with partners to ensure seamless product distribution and promote bancassurance offerings.
  • Develop data-driven operating models to optimize product mix and profitability for Regional Banca partners.

Product Management:

  • Oversee end-to-end product development from ideation to launch.
  • Review product submissions to ensure compliance with DBS guidelines.
  • Design and implement best practice product development approaches across the region.

Partnership Management:

  • Implement robust project management processes to ensure partner commitments are met.
  • Liaise with insurance providers to negotiate product UW and design when necessary.
  • Prepare monthly product updates and challenges escalation to senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher with a minimum of 8 years' experience in Insurance and/or experience in Insurance product manufacturing, pricing, product profitability, competitive analysis.
  • Strong industry knowledge and excellent bancassurance network.
  • Familiarity with regulatory landscape and compliance requirements in financial services.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
