Technical Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Management Specialist to oversee the technical operations of assigned tanker vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure vessel compliance with international and flag state regulations, including ISM, ISPS, MARPOL, SOLAS, and Class requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance, repairs, and dry dockings to ensure optimal vessel performance.
  • Monitor and manage vessel operating costs to achieve cost efficiency and financial accountability.
  • Conduct regular vessel inspections and prepare technical reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to onboard crews to foster a culture of safety and operational excellence.
  • Liaise with shipyards, vendors, and service providers to procure spares and services efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or relevant maritime discipline.
  • Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) as Chief Engineer (Class 1) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience as Technical Superintendent managing tanker vessels; sea-going experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and class/flag requirements specific to tankers.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in multicultural teams.
