We are seeking a passionate and service-driven Junior Sommelier to join our team at Burnt Ends, a modern Australian barbecue restaurant in Singapore.

As a Junior Sommelier, you will be responsible for providing expert wine recommendations and pairings to complement our menu items. You will educate guests about wine origins, flavor profiles, and proper tasting techniques. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to conduct tableside wine service, including decanting and pouring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert wine recommendations and pairings to complement menu items

  • Operate Point of Sales (POS) Systems when managing beverage orders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant or wine-focused position; Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills; Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
