Hotel Maintenance Technician Position

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities and equipment, ensuring the property is always in excellent working condition.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, mechanical, and carpentry works.
  • Respond promptly to guest room and public area maintenance issues.
  • Conduct daily checks on equipment such as water pumps, lighting, elevators, and HVAC systems.
  • Monitor utilities and perform routine inspections to identify potential problems.
  • Assist with minor painting, fixture repair, and furniture maintenance.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or servicing.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
Requirements:
  • NITEC certification or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a hotel or commercial building environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic proficiency in English and ability to write simple reports.
  • Physically fit and willing to perform hands-on repair and maintenance tasks.
