Job Title: Duty Operations Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Duty Operations Specialist. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and economical operation of various equipment and systems within the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the provision of services necessary to guests and other operating departments in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with other operating departments to implement repair and maintenance schedules.
- Responsible for operations management of the hotel, hotel property, restaurant, and grounds.
- Respond to concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
- Perform and/or monitor maintenance and preventive maintenance projects to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
- Address all building-related safety concerns in a proactive and efficient manner.
- Maintain departmental compliance with hotel procedures and protocols.
- Support hotel maintenance programs by executing daily, weekly, and monthly checklists.
- Assist management in specifying proper supplies and equipment for operations.
- Maintain the hotel's public spaces, rooms, and back-of-house areas in good repair through various trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering, and tiling.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Possess a solid understanding of basic hand and power tool operation.
- Be knowledgeable about common mechanical and electrical systems.
- Have experience in operations management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
