Key Responsibilities
  • Food Operations Management: Oversee the overall food operation, ensuring that food items are prepared in a timely and correct manner, and that food costs are optimized to yield maximum profit and guest satisfaction.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and ensure that the quality of food prepared by staff meets the required standards, making necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor food quality and quantity to ensure the most economical usage of ingredients, and assist in daily purchasing and receiving of goods.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Ensure that all food safety and hygiene policies and procedures are followed, and that proper storage methods are maintained.
  • Staff Management: Manage the training functions, ensure that all staff are certified in their position, and monitor staff performance in all phases of job functions.
  • Leadership and Communication: Attend monthly management meetings, hold daily briefings, and communicate upwards to ensure a high level of staff satisfaction.
