Its distinguished Chinese heritage restaurant chain, "Yanjiang Hainan Cuisine," and the well-known hotpot brand, "Shufengjiu Chengdu Hotpot," offer unforgettable dining experiences. The ideal candidate will oversee food preparation, manage workflows, and develop innovative menus while maintaining quality standards and adhering to culinary best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation Oversight: Ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to culinary standards in the food preparation process.
- Menu Design and Development: Create and develop innovative menus featuring new and existing dishes, delivering a diverse, high-quality dining experience.
- Workflow and Inventory Management: Streamline food preparation workflows for optimal efficiency and plan orders for equipment and ingredients based on inventory assessments.
- Staffing and Training: Hire, train, and manage kitchen staff to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
- Quality Control and Compliance: Address and resolve any issues in food preparation to uphold quality standards and ensure compliance with nutritional guidelines, sanitation standards, and safety regulations.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Operations Manager.
- Expertise in Malaysian or Singaporean cuisine is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing kitchen staff.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
