Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join our innovative team in Singapore. As a key member of the R&D department, you will be responsible for designing and developing power electronic converters for various applications, including AI data center server power supply, renewable energy systems, and industrial automation.

  • Design and develop high-performance power electronic converters, including AC/DC, DC/DC, Buck, Boost, SR, and Flyback configurations.
  • Utilize industry-leading tools such as LTspice, PSIM, Mathcad, and others to perform calculations, simulations, and modeling.
  • Select and evaluate power components, including Si/SiC/GaN MOSFETs, IGBTs, capacitors, resistors, magnetics, and other critical components.
  • Develop sophisticated control algorithms for power converters and implement them on embedded platforms.
  • Conduct thorough thermal and EMI/EMC tests and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant international standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineers, to drive project success.
  • Support prototyping, testing, and validation of power electronic systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Document designs, test procedures, and report test results accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, specialized in Power Electronics, or related field, with 2-5 years' experience in the same industry.
  • Deep understanding of power electronics theory and applications, with a strong focus on circuit design and simulation.
  • Proficiency in embedded systems and digital control of power converters, with a proven track record of successful projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards, including UL, IEC, ISO, and other relevant certifications.
