Senior Power System Engineer Role

We are seeking a Senior Power System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high voltage electrical system design and implementation, with expertise in power distribution systems, relay protection settings, and grounding system design.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end design of power distribution systems (10 kV and below high-voltage/low-voltage systems), including primary and secondary system design, short-circuit current calculations, equipment selection, and power monitoring system architecture design. Additionally, they will review construction drawings, prepare technical specifications for electrical equipment installation, and lead commissioning of power distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design of power distribution systems (10 kV and below high-voltage/low-voltage systems)
- Primary and secondary system design, short-circuit current calculations, equipment selection, and power monitoring system architecture design
- Review construction drawings and prepare technical specifications for electrical equipment installation
- Lead commissioning of power distribution systems
- Propose energy-saving solutions for power distribution systems, research renewable energy integration technologies, and resolve EMI and grounding conflicts

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems and Automation, High Voltage and Insulation Technology, or related fields
- Registered Electrical Engineer license (Power Transmission/Distribution) and/or PMP certification preferred
- 5+ years of high voltage electrical system design experience, with independent work on at least 3 mid-sized projects (e.g., 10kV substations, commercial complexes over 50,000 sqm)
- Familiarity with high and low voltage products from brands like Schneider, ABB, and Siemens
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP/SKM, and Revit MEP; expertise in short-circuit current calculations, relay protection settings, and grounding system design (TN-S/TN-C-S)
- Knowledge of electrical requirements for low-voltage systems, familiarity with Modbus and BACnet for HV-LV integration, and ability to develop technical documentation compliant with IEC/CE/UL standards
