Electrical Power Systems Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Power Systems Leader to drive the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems with a focus on power generation, distribution, and control. This pivotal role requires technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Vision and Mentorship: Provide technical vision and mentorship to a team of electrical engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that drives continuous improvement initiatives, identifies opportunities for efficiency gains and process enhancements.
  • Advanced Electrical System Design: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of advanced electrical systems, ensuring seamless integration of electrical components with mechanical and software systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Component Selection and Analysis: Lead the selection of components, wiring, and connectors for electrical and power systems, considering factors such as performance, cost, and sustainability.
  • Power System Testing and Compliance: Oversee the analysis and testing of complex power systems and electrical components, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency. Ensure strict compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Electrical Design Tools: Expertise in electrical design tools (e.g., SOLIDWORKS Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical).
  • Robotics Power Electronics: Strong understanding of robotics power electronics, circuit theory, and energy management.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in robotics, automotive, or commercial products.
  • Sustainability Trends: Familiarity with sustainability and emerging trends in robotics power systems.
  • Communication and Project Management Skills: Excellent communication and project management skills.
