Job Title

We are seeking a skilled and reliable facilities maintenance specialist to perform various tasks in maintaining the hotel's facilities and equipment.

  • Maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and carpentry works through regular inspections and preventive measures.
  • Respond promptly to guest room and public area maintenance issues.
  • Conduct daily checks on equipment such as water pumps, lighting, elevators, and HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Monitor utilities and perform routine inspections to identify potential problems and take corrective action.
  • Assist with minor repairs and maintenance in guest rooms, including painting, fixture repair, and furniture maintenance.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or servicing when necessary.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • NITEC or equivalent certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a hotel or commercial building environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Basic proficiency in English and ability to write simple reports.
  • Physically fit and able to perform hands-on repair and maintenance tasks.
