Equipment Maintenance Technician

The Equipment Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of hotel equipment and facilities.

  1. Cooperate with superiors to maintain normal equipment operation and perform assigned maintenance work tasks.
  2. Responsible for general maintenance work order completion, as well as assisting the Engineering department's maintenance team in completing other maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to team members rules and regulations, management instructions, and superior commands.
  • Follow safe operation rules and regulations for equipment.
  • Maintain daily power supply, water supply, gas supply, heating, and cooling equipment operations.
  • Inspect equipment operation records and shift handover records promptly and accurately.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment and facilities under jurisdiction.
  • Conserve energy and control energy consumption.
  • Perform maintenance works for guest rooms, event spaces, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
  • Test-run generators regularly to ensure power generation and transmission during power failures.
  • Inspect fire alarm and protection systems for preventive maintenance and take measures to prevent violations.
  • Maintain records of withdrawn working tools upon usage.
  • Monitor and track work requests for timely completion.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays.
  • Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Familiarity with large data centre infrastructure operation principles and fault judgment methods.
  • Willingness to engage in monitoring posts for extended periods and have sufficient time for study.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, professionalism, and learning ability.
  • Active and motivated in work, with a good sense of service.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work independently.
