
Senior Kitchen Operations Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. They will work closely with the team to maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen activities and staff to ensure efficient and effective daily operations;
- Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and controlling stock intake to prevent waste;
- Collaborate with the head chef and executive chef to develop new menus and recipes, and implement company-wide initiatives;
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen;
- Provide training and development opportunities for kitchen staff, promoting career advancement and growth within the team;
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory management, sales data, and employee performance evaluations.
Requirements:
- Diploma or vocational certificate in culinary arts or related field;
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably with a focus on operational management;
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of cooks and support staff;
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, preparation, and procedures;
- Ability to speak Native Japanese, with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
