Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating test equipment in the repair, overhaul, and modification of Avionics Line Replaceable Units. This includes conducting regular functional/self tests and calibrations on Automated/Manual Test Equipment, ensuring that all test equipment are within calibration due-date before testing of LRU is carried out, performing modifications in accordance to service bulletins on LRUs as and when required, troubleshooting customer's unit and returning it to a serviceable condition in the most efficient manner, verifying and ensuring that all repairs or modifications carried out conform to quality and workmanship standards, and maintaining good housekeeping practices at work place and test benches at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Minimum Diploma in Electronics required
- Minimum one year experience in Avionics equipment repair preferred
- Ability to read digital and analog electronics circuitry
- Ability to perform manual soldering on electronics components
- Good color perception
- Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to interpret schematic diagrams, troubleshoot and repair PCB assembly down to component level
- Competent to conduct tests according to the Component Maintenance Manual
- Ability to interpret, evaluate test results and write test report
