Overview
Designation:
Repair Technician 1 (Morning Shift)
Working Hours & Days:
8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
Perform setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies for In-Flight Entertainment Systems.
Conduct repairs and modifications at board and component level, recognize failures, and analyze troubleshooting data.
Position and align parts and components, using methods like soldering, crimping, and gluing.
Test and troubleshoot complex analog and digital electronics to component level, using test equipment.
Assess design configuration status using engineering documentation and maintenance manuals.
Record repair actions and discrepancies, and generate repair cost quotations.
Qualifications
Diploma or higher Nitec/Degree in Engineering, Electronics Technology, Aerospace Technology, or equivalent.
At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
Experience in troubleshooting electronic products is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to read schematics and technical publications.
Understanding of electronic circuit design and fault isolation.
Proficiency in operating test equipment like auto-testers, oscilloscopes, and meters.
Excellent soldering skills, especially on surface-mount technology.
Ability to maintain avionics equipment and master product knowledge.
Personal Characteristics

Self-driven, able to work independently and in teams.
Organized, able to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
