Job Title: Avionics Systems Specialist

Aircraft Electronics Expertise Required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and Test Avionics Systems - Regularly inspect and test avionics systems to ensure they function correctly and meet strict airworthiness standards.
  • Detect Electronic Malfunctions - Utilize specialized diagnostic tools to identify electronic malfunctions or system failures, isolating faults for efficient repairs.
  • Conduct Wiring Inspections - Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft wiring, ensuring proper electrical connections and shielding to prevent system failures or electrical fires.
  • Calibrate Avionics Instruments - Calibrate, test, and adjust avionics instruments and sensors, guaranteeing the accuracy of crucial systems like altimeters and airspeed indicators.
  • Log Diagnostic Tests - Log all diagnostic tests, repairs, installations, and inspections accurately in the aircraft's maintenance records to ensure compliance with aviation regulations.
  • Adhere to Aviation Safety Regulations - Follow relevant aviation safety regulations, including FAA and EASA guidelines, to ensure all electronic systems meet operational standards.
  • Maintain Avionics System Integrity - Perform regular updates and troubleshoot new software issues to maintain the integrity of avionics systems.

Requirements:

  • Education: Min. ITE in Avionics, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Min. 1 year of experience in avionics maintenance and repair.
  • Certification: CAAS Aircraft Maintenance Certificate required.
