Financial Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our financial reporting framework in Singapore. This position sits at the heart of our finance function, combining technical accounting leadership with hands-on group reporting.

  • Create and maintain a robust financial reporting framework that aligns with IFRS standards.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex accounting treatments and draft clear papers for management and auditors.
  • Oversee consolidated reporting across multiple business units, producing timely financial results for senior leadership and regulators.
  • Stay up-to-date with accounting standard developments and translate them into practical application for the business.
  • Support ad-hoc projects where financial structuring or reporting considerations play a key role.
  • Enhance reporting controls and governance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop Financial Reporting Framework: Create and maintain a comprehensive financial reporting framework that adheres to IFRS standards.
  2. Expert Accounting Guidance: Provide in-depth guidance on complex accounting treatments and assist in drafting clear papers for management and auditors.
  3. Consolidated Reporting: Oversee the consolidation of reports from multiple business units, ensuring timely delivery of financial results to senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
  4. Accounting Standard Updates: Stay current with emerging accounting standards and apply this knowledge to drive business growth.
  5. Ad-Hoc Projects: Collaborate on special projects that require expertise in financial structuring and reporting.
  6. Reporting Controls: Implement and maintain robust reporting controls to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., accounting, finance) and a minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS principles and their practical application in industry.
  • Prior experience in group consolidation and multi-entity reporting is highly desirable.
  • The ability to work effectively in an asset-heavy or global business environment.
  • A balance of attention to detail and effective communication skills.
