Commercial Strategy Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Strategy Manager to join our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with strong commercial acumen and experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a commercial team to achieve project margins and maintain a positive cash profile
  • Provide accurate and transparent reporting, ensuring timely delivery of commercial information
  • Develop and implement effective commercial strategies, identifying opportunities and managing risks
  • Oversee the procurement and management of the supply chain, ensuring timely settlements and financial controls
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients, consultants, and partners, fostering a collaborative environment

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Science
  • At least 10 years' experience in a similar role in the construction industry
  • Familiarity with contract/construction law, including tender requirements and contract conditions
  • Candidates with M&E experience will have an added advantage
  • Excellent numeracy skills, with strong analytical and contract/commercial acumen
  • Strong business acumen, with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
