Job Title: Commercial Strategy Manager

    We are seeking a commercially astute Commercial Strategy Manager to drive growth, optimize procurement strategies, and execute end-to-end transactions across the value chain in the petrochemical markets. This role involves managing the full deal cycle—from sourcing and buying materials, engaging with vendors and off takers, to structuring long-term contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive end-to-end deal cycle from sourcing and procuring raw materials to engaging offtakers and structuring long-term contracts.
  • Lead and execute both spot transactions and strategic, long-term sales agreements in the Naphtha, PTA, and wider petrochemical markets.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with vendors, suppliers, and offtakers to secure reliable supply and stable demand.
  • Develop and negotiate long-term agreements, sales contracts, and JV arrangements to support sustainable business growth.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, legal, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts.
  • Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships that enhance competitiveness and market presence.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance policies, trade regulations, and risk management frameworks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in petrochemical products.
  • Proven track record in sourcing, negotiating, and managing long-term contracts with both suppliers and off takers.
  • Strong background in transactional deal-making, vendor/offtaker management, and commercial negotiations.
  • Excellent market knowledge and understanding of regional/international PTA supply and demand dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Independent, decisive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
