Fine Wine and Business Analyst Program

Job Overview

  • This is a trainee position focusing on fine wine distribution.

Main Responsibilities

Business Operations and Product Development
  • Forecast inventory needs, monitor stock levels, and market prices for effective stock management and pricing strategy.
  • Design thematic offers aligned with stock analysis, seasonal tastings, and new vintage releases.
  • Analyse client purchase history and wine profiles to draft personalized offers.
  • Coordinate bespoke proposals for special occasions.
  • Assist in analysing allocation proposals from producers and prepare detailed client-level analyses.
  • Check stock availability and instruct commercial teams accordingly.
Sales Strategy, Campaigns, and Events Coordination
  • Contribute to sales campaign calendars, online promotions, and seasonal events.
  • Prepare presentation decks and briefing packs for commercial meetings.
  • Collaborate on event coordination, including tasting events and private client trips.
  • Oversee post-event deliverables for an end-to-end experience.
Reporting, Analysis, and Distribution Support
  • Produce sales dashboards and financial models.
  • Update our CRM and databases with wine producer information.
  • Generate distribution studies for wine estates and monitor performance across regions.
  • Provide ongoing analysis of allocation options, purchase deadlines, and market trends.
  • Support selective distribution activities by preparing reports and board materials.
Relationship Management and Stakeholder Communication
  • Maintain communication with Sales, Estates, Marketing, and Operations teams on cross-departmental activities.
  • Draft briefings on new vintages, pricing changes, offers, and campaign results.
  • Act as a central point for client inquiries received via the commercial team.
