FF&E Designer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Junior FF&E Designer to join our organization.

As a Junior FF&E Designer, you will be responsible for working closely with the design team in concept and design development. Your key responsibilities will include selecting and preparing FF&E presentation of materials and finishes, coordinating with the design team in developing furniture layout, perspectives and 2D/3D renderings, and ensuring that project assignments are completed within the given deadline. You will also be responsible for preparing full sets of FF&E specifications and documentations for tender & construction drawings, reviewing shop drawings from suppliers and contractors, attending site meetings and site/factory inspection to review materials and furniture, and demonstrating flexibility in handling multiple projects.

Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Architectural or Interior Design or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum one year's relevant experience in FF&E, especially in the hospitality industry.
  • Creativity and artistic flair.
  • Experienced in handling projects in all design phases. Knowledge of site work and progress will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of design (composition, planning, materials, details, furniture and fixtures).
  • Good knowledge of drawing preparation and CAD standard, strong organizational skill and attentive to detail.
  • Meticulous, good team player and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, 3D Max and SketchUp will be a plus.
