Junior FF&E Designer Position Available

About the Job

We are seeking a Junior FF&E Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with the design team in concept and design development.

Your key responsibilities will include selecting and preparing FF&E presentation of materials and finishes, coordinating with the design team in developing furniture layout, perspectives and 2D/3D renderings, and ensuring that project assignments are completed within the given deadline.

You will also be responsible for preparing full sets of FF&E specifications and documentations for tender & construction drawings, reviewing shop drawings from suppliers and contractors, attending site meetings and site/factory inspection to review materials and furniture, and demonstrating flexibility in handling multiple projects.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Architectural or Interior Design or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year's relevant experience in FF&E, especially in the hospitality industry.
  • Creativity and artistic flair.
  • Experienced in handling projects in all design phases. Knowledge of site work and progress will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of design (composition, planning, materials, details, furniture and fixtures).
  • Good knowledge of drawing preparation and CAD standard, strong organizational skill and attentive to detail.
  • Meticulous, good team player and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, 3D Max and SketchUp will be a plus.
