We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Jewellery Artisan to join our team.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough examinations of gold-based items to determine purity, weight, authenticity and quality.
  • They will also assist customers in making informed decisions about their jewellery needs by providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Research and evaluation of pieces and materials for quality and value will be a key part of this role, as well as designing new pieces and creating moulds.
  • In addition, the Jewellery Artisan will be responsible for restoring old or broken pieces to their original condition, cleaning and polishing jewellery to high standards and staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Sales skills and experience are essential for this role, as is proficiency in design software and equipment.
  • A strong understanding of appraisal techniques, including weight measurement and diamond identification, is also required.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively are also important.
  • Pricing strategies and knowledge of market trends are also desirable.
