**Primary Responsibilities:
**Gold Leaf Production**:

- Beating gold into ultra-thin sheets (gold leaf) using a traditional hammering process or modern machinery.
- Ensuring the gold is evenly beaten to the correct thickness for its intended use.

**Preparation of Gold Sheets**:

- Preparing the gold by melting and shaping it into small ingots or blocks, before beginning the beating process.
- Carefully monitoring the thickness of the gold sheets, which typically range from 0.0001 to 0.005 millimeters.

**Precision Work**:

- Ensuring that the gold leaf is uniform in thickness and free from tears or other defects.
- Handling tools such as hammers, anvils, and mallets, along with specialized equipment like beating machines.

**Gilding Process Support**:
**Maintenance of Tools and Equipment**:

- Maintaining and sharpening tools used in gold beating, including hammers and anvils.
- Keeping the workspace clean and organized to ensure safety and productivity.

- Preferably to communicate well in English and Tamil to liaise with Indian speaking clients/customers in view of working/business environment communication
