Job Description

The Maintenance Specialist role requires a skilled professional to implement projects in Sentosa Express, provide operational, engineering, and technical support for local and overseas transport projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Technical Consultancy team to lead, plan, and manage the overhaul of trains for Sentosa Express.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement projects in Sentosa Express by coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring timely completion.
  • Provide Operational, Engineering, and Technical Support for local and overseas transport projects by conducting regular site visits and troubleshooting issues.
  • Lead, plan, and manage the overhaul of trains for Sentosa Express by collaborating with the Technical Consultancy team and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct system design reviews relevant to operation, maintenance, and safety by analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Cover the duties of the O&M Manager/Engineer during their absence by overseeing maintenance activities and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Perform night shifts when required for the implementation of projects by working flexible hours and meeting deadlines.
  • Conduct system internal/external safety and quality audits by verifying compliance with regulations and recommending improvements.
  • Support the preparation of operation & maintenance plans for project bidding submissions by providing expert advice and technical/engineering support.
  • Travel overseas as and when required for project assignments by obtaining necessary visas and permits.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field with 5 years of experience in railway engineering, or a Diploma in Engineering with 8 years of experience.
