Assistant Director, People Operations

This Strategic HR Business Partner position plays a critical role in driving our organisation's people transformation initiatives. As a member of our HR team, you will be responsible for reviewing and enhancing our HR processes, policies, and systems to ensure they align with best practices.
You will work closely with our Director to develop and implement strategic business partnering frameworks that drive the delivery of our HR plans. Additionally, you will assist in HR Centre of Excellence (COE) initiatives, such as talent management, employee engagement, and leadership development programs.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of HR processes, systems, and best practices. Experience in the social service sector is an advantage.
ResponsibilitiesHR Transformation & Process Improvement- Review and enhance current HR processes, policies, and systems to attain a progressive and agile HR function.
- Evaluate and improve current HR processes and systems to streamline, minimise, and digitalise HR operations.
- Conduct research on industry best practices and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Develop training materials and communication resources to educate Heads of Departments (HODs) and employees on HR policies, processes, and best practices.
- Develop a coaching culture to instill continuous learning in SCS.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and HR knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Ensure clear and effective communication of HR transformation efforts to stakeholders.
- Provide support in developing and implementing strategic business partnering frameworks that drives the delivery of SCS' HR plans.
- Assist in HR Centre of Excellence (COE) initiatives, such as talent management, employee engagement, and leadership development programs.
- Collaborate with HR and unit leaders to align HR strategies with organisational goals.
- Provide support in HR analytics and reporting to aid decision-making.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.
- Review, recommend, and update HR policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and to encourage an engaged workforce.
