Role Overview

This is a highly specialized role that requires an individual with strong expertise in ERP assurance and IT application controls. As a Senior Consultant, you will be part of a global team responsible for designing and assessing the efficiency of IT application controls across various organizations.

Your primary focus will be on providing expert advice to senior stakeholders, ensuring compliance with external and internal accounting reporting requirements, and identifying opportunities for process and IT control improvements.

You will work closely with IT application owners and business process owners to identify SOX-relevant IT applications and infrastructures. Additionally, you will participate in IT risk assessments, collaborate with teams globally, and advise on ITACs structure by understanding end-to-end processes, IT environment, and data context.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and assessing the efficiency of IT application controls
  • Providing expert advice to senior stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with external and internal accounting reporting requirements
  • Identifying opportunities for process and IT control improvements
  • Participating in IT risk assessments
  • Collaborating with IT application owners and business process owners
  • Advising on ITACs structure

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • University degree in economics, business informatics, or computer science
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in auditing ERP systems, IT environments, and automated business process controls
  • Experience in performing IT audit or review engagements, including a solid understanding of external audit approaches, concepts, and methodology
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate closely with technical and business contacts
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, result-oriented, and collaborative approach to work
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and business writing skills in English
