ERP Assurance Senior Consultant Job Description

This is a senior-level position responsible for providing expert assurance services to clients in the area of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. The ERP Assurance Senior Consultant will work closely with clients to design and assess the efficiency of IT application controls, identify process and IT controls improvement opportunities, and drive implementation.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of auditing ERP systems, including SAP systems, and experience in performing IT audit or review engagements. They will also possess excellent communication, presentation, and business writing skills in English, as well as an ability to work well in a team and collaborate closely with both technical and business contacts.

This role involves interacting with senior stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally. The ERP Assurance Senior Consultant will be a member of a global team of IT assurance experts and will participate in IT risk assessments, collaborate with IT Application Owners and Business Process Owners, and support the identification and testing of IT application controls during the implementation of a new ERP system or upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and assess the efficiency of IT application controls
  • Identify process and IT controls improvement opportunities and drive implementation
  • Provide assurance services in the areas of ERP systems, including SAP systems
  • Participate in IT risk assessments and collaborate with IT Application Owners and Business Process Owners
  • Support the identification and testing of IT application controls during the implementation of a new ERP system or upgrades

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • University degree in economics, business informatics, or computer science
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in auditing ERP systems, including SAP systems
  • Experience in performing IT audit or review engagements
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and business writing skills in English
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate closely with both technical and business contacts
