About the Role

#### Summary\
A skilled Insurance Claims Handler is required to join QBE Insurance (Singapore) Pte Ltd. This role involves managing property and engineering claims from initial notification through to settlement.\
#### Responsibilities:\
• Assess and manage property and engineering claims from initial notification through to settlement.
• Handle direct and reinsurance business, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with co-insurers and reinsurers to resolve claims efficiently.
• Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of claims, including site visits when necessary.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records of claims activities.
• Liaise with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve queries.
• Analyze loss data and prepare reports for management review.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in claims handling.\
#### Requirements:\
• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Possess basic CGI, CII or equivalent.
• Prior experience in loss adjusting firms or equivalent roles is preferred.
• Strong understanding of property and engineering insurance principles and claims processes.
• Familiarity with reinsurance business, including direct and reinsurance arrangements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in claims management software, P400 system, Microsoft Office Suite and data analytics tool, such as Tableau.\
