**_Purpose of job: _**
- Manage claim team operations on day-to-day basis covering standard and complex claims types in the motor and travel area.
- Ensure claims are handled within authority limits, and in line with Claims Standards procedures and guidelines.
- Utilise third party service providers to achieve economical results and to provide a high-quality service to all internal and external customers.
- Manage and Audit service providers to whom parts of claims handling might be outsourced to.
- Technical referral point for other Claims Handlers.
- Oversee and manage claim projects

**_Main Responsibilities: _**
- Managing Risks that owned and designated to the Claims Director as listed in the Reserve & Claims Risk Policy

Identifying and manage all operational risks related to Claims,

Monitoring and reporting Key Risk Indicators
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Ensure staff follow Risk Management Framework Policy (includes WFH policy)
- Ensure claim team follows company’s repeatable cycles including file reviews.
- Provide management MI reports (monthly KPI’s) - KEY CLAIMS / Monthly operational meeting
- Ensures DA claims team comply with all GIA/MAS industry agreements
- Ensures AM’s Update and review of the Claims Handling Guide and implementation of any regulatory updates.
- Put in place measures to identify and report fraud and ensure staff are familiar with DA’s Financial Crime and Whistleblowing Policy

Endure Claims Processes are aligned with DA’s PDPA policy and are adhered to.
- Oversee Claims or handle claims disputes and appeals including those that are submitted to FIDRec.
- Work with R & C to ensure timely returns for all MAS related complaints.
- Monthly meetings - KEY CLAIMS and Operational meeting
- Technical Quarterly file reviews (including R & C)
- Training/coaching of Managers including in terms of identifying and managing Claims related risks

Ensure the timely response of Claims staff in terms of handling and responding to customer complaints
