Warehouse Job Summary

Assist with daily warehouse operations, including receiving and storing materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Ensure timely and efficient processing of goods, while adhering to strict quality control measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Packing: Thoroughly inspect and prepare parts for shipping, ensuring they are securely wrapped and labelled for easy identification.

  • Import/Export: Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, checking for damage, quantity discrepancies, and compliance with purchase specifications.

  • Inventory Management: Maintain precise inventory records, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure seamless integration with Sun System software.

  • Warehouse Security and Housekeeping: Implement robust security protocols, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of materials.

  • Compliance and Operations: Collaborate with logistics and shipping departments to streamline processes, perform safety checks on equipment, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage time effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.

  • Basic computer proficiency, with experience in inventory management systems and a willingness to learn new software.

  • One year of relevant work experience in a warehousing or logistics setting, preferably with knowledge of SAP or similar systems.
