About Brookfield Asset Management
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate, Client Relationship Management to join our team in Asia Pacific. This role is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about building strong relationships with institutional investors and supporting the senior client relationship managers (CRMs) in their goal to raise capital for our private funds.
The successful candidate will work across all asset classes that we specialize in, including Real Estate, Infrastructure, Renewables, and Private Equity, and will be involved in all aspects of fund marketing activities, client prospect due diligence, and onboarding processes. You will also have the opportunity to originate new client investment activity, coordinate update meetings with investment teams, and maintain our internal CRM system (Salesforce).
Responsibilities:
- Supporting all aspects of fund marketing activities, client prospect due diligence, and onboarding processes;
- Working with CRMs to originate new client investment activity;
- Coordinating and attending update meetings with investment teams (prepare pre-meeting reports and appropriate materials, coordinate any follow-up);
- Coverage of on-site due diligence meetings with investment teams (prepare pre-meeting reports and appropriate materials, coordinate any follow-up);
- Where appropriate, directly communicating with clients to support their due diligence requests;
- Maintaining Brookfield's internal CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring that the system is up to date for internal reporting purposes;
- Assisting with ad-hoc Business Development activities;
- Conducting alternative asset industry research and client-specific research;
- Compiling detailed pre-meeting reports for each client meeting involving Brookfield investment professionals;
- Completing ad-hoc profiles on prospects as needed;
- Detailed research and analysis, leveraging market data and other sources, with the aim of creating targeted prospective investor lists for new funds and strategies;
- Monitoring industry press for information relating to our respective prospects and competitors;
- In conjunction with Communications and Project Management Teams, help coordinate road shows, conferences, and investor meetings;
- Assisting with conference/meeting planning: setup, prepare and co-ordinate with different stakeholders (both within and beyond the organization);
- Facilitating broad investor communication initiatives;
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business management, marketing, communications, or other relevant discipline. Fluency in Mandarin would be an advantage. We are looking for someone with 5-7 years of experience in private equity investments (LP or GP), fund marketing, due diligence, sales, client services, or other fundraising or client function. Strong understanding of the fundraising process, from early-stage dialogue to process completion, is essential.
A salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, is available for this position.
