Job Opportunity: Broadcast IT Systems Professional

The role of the Broadcast IT Systems Professional is to provide technical support for broadcast and related equipment and systems. This includes tasks such as manning a support hotline, system diagnosis, remediation and monitoring, system administration, patching, and preventive maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance to broadcast equipment and systems in News Studios & Post Production and asset management system, Outside Broadcast production van, News Room Computer System etc.
  • Document, communicate, collaborate, handle fault incidents.
  • Audit system vulnerabilities and provide guidance to remediate, mitigate any reliability and security risks.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of broadcast equipment and system.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on broadcast and IT equipment.
  • Work with different business units to provide technical solutions to enhance existing operations setup.
  • Evaluate and recommend new broadcast IT equipment and system.
  • Support project implementation of broadcast IT system infrastructures including drafting technical specifications, costings, and documentations.
  • Perform shift standby duty to support broadcast system infrastructures.
Qualifications:
  • Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, IT Security, or equivalent CCNA Certification in Information Technology networking field.
  • Microsoft certifications such as MCSA preferred.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Relevant work experience 0-3 years in IT Broadcast or Media Production related field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of cloud enterprise system architecture.
  • Network troubleshooting skills of IT devices, maintenance experience with management configuration of networking devices, switches, routers, firewalls preferred.
