**Job Title:** Technical Support Specialist

This role ensures the smooth operation of broadcast and IT related equipment and systems.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaboration and Task Management: Collaborate with a team of engineers to schedule daily/weekly tasks that meet organizational goals and provide context and support.
  • Audit and Compliance: Support internal and external audit processes for relevant compliance concerns. Coordinate and track all technology and security related audits, including scope, units involved, timelines, auditing agencies, and outcomes.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assess risks associated with technical operations and ensure that adequate controls are in place to mitigate risk.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay up-to-date on developing regulatory concerns and changing IT, Broadcast IT, and information security trends.
  • System Architecture and Enhancement: Develop system architecture, enhancements, and workflow optimization strategies.
  • Technical Assistance and Guidance: Provide technical assistance and guidance.
  • Documentation and Communication: Document, communicate, collaborate, and handle fault incidents.
  • System Vulnerability and Risk Management: Evaluate and address system vulnerabilities, providing guidance, remediation, and mitigation of reliability and security risks.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of broadcast IT equipment and systems.
  • Business Solutions: Work with various business units to provide technical solutions to enhance existing operations and infrastructure.
  • Equipment Evaluation and Recommendation: Evaluate and recommend new broadcast IT equipment and systems.
  • Project Implementation: Lead project implementation teams in supporting the development of broadcast IT systems and infrastructures projects, including drafting technical specifications and cost documents.
