Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of engineers, scheduling daily/weekly tasks to meet organizational goals and providing context and support.
  • Support internal and external audit processes for relevant compliance concerns. Coordinate and track all technology and security-related audits, including scope, units involved, timelines, auditing agencies, and outcomes.
  • Assess risks associated with technical operations and ensure that adequate controls are in place to mitigate risk.
  • Stay up-to-date on developing regulatory concerns and changing IT, Broadcast IT, and information security trends.
  • Develop system architecture, enhancements, and workflow optimization strategies.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance.
  • Document, communicate, collaborate, and handle fault incidents.
  • Evaluate and address system vulnerabilities, providing guidance, remediation, and mitigation of reliability and security risks.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of broadcast IT equipment and systems.
  • Work with various business units to provide technical solutions to enhance existing operations and infrastructure.
  • Evaluate and recommend new broadcast IT equipment and systems.
  • Lead project implementation teams in supporting the development of broadcast IT systems and infrastructures projects, including drafting technical specifications and cost documents.
Requirements:
  • Technical skills: Familiarity with broadcast IT equipment and systems, knowledge of system architecture, and experience with troubleshooting and repair.
  • Communication skills: Ability to collaborate with teams, document procedures, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills: Capacity to assess risks, develop control measures, and evaluate system vulnerabilities.
  • Continuous learning: Commitment to staying updated on regulatory concerns, IT trends, and best practices in broadcast IT.
