Building Services Specialist

The ideal candidate will design and implement building services systems, oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of these systems. They will work closely with authorities, subcontractors, and site workers to ensure compliance and safety.

This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, particularly in the field of Air Conditioning, Mechanical Ventilation, and Heating (ACMV). The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills and be able to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.

A key aspect of this position is staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in ACMV. This includes knowledge of heat load calculations, pump sizing, chilled water systems, chiller configuration, and other relevant areas.

In addition to technical expertise, the Building Services Specialist must also possess good project management skills, including tracking and managing project costs against budget.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have a diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, preferably with 5 years of experience in the ACMV field. You must also have knowledge of ACMV calculations and be able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Able to work independently as well as part of a team, you should be highly organized, self-motivated, and flexible. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.
