Job Title: Building Services Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and building services within our facilities. This includes coordinating daily operations, performing periodic inspections, and troubleshooting fire-protection systems.

  • Ensure the smooth operation of M&E systems by coordinating daily activities with the property management team.
  • Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as per schedules to ensure the longevity of equipment and facilities.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to fire-protection systems and perform weekly checks on building main panels and sub-panels.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner and provide timely resolutions.
  • Manage inventory and requisition necessary parts and accessories according to established standard operating procedures.
  • Supervise contractors to ensure they adhere to specifications during work execution.
  • Monitor progress of rectification works and report to the property management team in a timely manner.
  • Respond to emergency calls and attend to breakdowns during office hours and provide reinforcement as needed.
  • Perform troubleshooting on building electrical and mechanical systems to identify root causes of issues.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least 1 year's experience as a building technician or equivalent.
  • Nitec/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services/Facility Management or relevant field is mandatory.
  • Must have hands-on experience in maintaining building systems, equipment, and facilities.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Open to working rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
