This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team as a Building Services Specialist.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Services Specialist to design and implement mechanical and electrical engineering services for building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience in designing and managing building services systems.

The successful candidate will work closely with our project teams to ensure that all building services projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This includes coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver complex building services projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement mechanical and electrical engineering services for building projects
  • Manage and coordinate building services projects from conception to completion
  • Work with project teams to develop and implement building services solutions that meet client requirements
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver complex building services projects
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects
  • Conduct site visits to inspect and monitor building services installations and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations
  • Analyze and troubleshoot building services issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in building services engineering, preferably in an engineering consultancy environment
  • Strong knowledge of building services systems, including mechanical and electrical engineering principles, plumbing, and HVAC
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
  • Experience with CAD software and other building information modeling tools
