Job Title: Maintenance Operations Specialist

About the Role:

The Maintenance Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of District Cooling System (DCS) plants, Retail Cooling Monitoring (RCM), and other field works. This includes implementing and monitoring service and maintenance programs, analyzing and optimizing plant maintenance, and supervising all maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement and monitor service and maintenance programmes to ensure optimal plant performance
  2. Analyze and optimize plant maintenance to minimize downtime and reduce costs
  3. Supervise and implement all maintenance processes, including externally sourced contractors
  4. Support maintenance contract management to ensure compliance with company standards
  5. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to detect and resolve problems
  6. Assist engineers in calibrations and control troubleshooting as required
  7. Assign and release work orders to maintenance specialists and contractors
  8. Close work orders/service requests after completion of work
  9. Ensure work methods comply with established standards and procedures
  10. Assist engineers in analyzing and implementing facility enhancements and improvement works
  11. Document all maintenance records for tracking and audit purposes
  12. Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies as needed
  13. Administer Permit To Work system
Requirements:
  1. Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Control & Instrumentation/Air-conditioning Engineering
  2. Good understanding of technical features of ACMV and District Cooling System
  3. Practical experience in Energy Management Systems and local/remote control and monitoring systems
  4. Working knowledge of facilities, machines, and equipment
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Awareness of Health, Safety, and Environment and a strong safety mindset
  7. Will to perform shift duty at various sites
