Job Title: Maintenance Operations Specialist

Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our District Cooling System (DCS) plants, Retail Cooling Monitoring (RCM), and other field works.

  • Implement and monitor service and maintenance programs to optimize system performance and efficiency.
  • Supervise and implement all maintenance processes, including externally sourced contractors, to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.
  • Support analysis and optimization of plant maintenance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to detect and resolve problems promptly.
  • Assist in calibrations and control troubleshooting as required, working closely with engineers to resolve issues.
  • Assign and release work orders to concerned maintenance specialists and contractors, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Close work orders/service requests after completion of work, maintaining accurate records for tracking and audit purposes.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with established standards, procedures, and company policies, upholding a safe operating environment.
  • Uphold a strong safety mindset, adhering to regulations and guidelines related to Machine Guarding, LOTO, Permit to Work, Work at Height, Hot work, and hazardous area classification.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor from time to time.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Control & Instrumentation/Air-conditioning Engineering; Higher NITEC holders with relevant DHCS experience may also be considered favorably.
  • Keen interest in developing a career in the DHCS business, with a good understanding of technical features of ACMV and District Cooling Systems.
  • Practical experience in Energy Management Systems, local/remote control, and monitoring systems, as well as instrumentation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with awareness of Health, Safety, and Environment.
  • Willingness to perform shift duty (12-hour rotating shift) at various sites.
