Key Responsibilities:
  • Support business development activities, including proposal development and thought leadership pieces, to position KPMG as a leading firm for ESG reporting and risk analysis services in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
  • Manage the oversight and delivery of service offerings in areas such as ESG reporting, ISSB-specific integration, scenario analysis, and capacity building.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities within the ESG reporting space, and conduct in-depth research and analysis to support client recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management within our clients and partners and global contacts within our own organization.
Requirements:
  • Accounting/financial advisory/audit background preferred.
  • Strong passion for ESG issues and commitment to making a difference in the corporate landscape.
  • Deep understanding of the ESG reporting landscape and risk as driven by the ISSB recommendations.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in ESG reporting, ESG risk analysis, sustainability consulting, financial accounting, or related fields, preferably with a specialization in biodiversity.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, preferably in Accountancy, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance, or Economics.
  • Professional certifications related to accounting, sustainability, and ESG (e.g., ISCA/ICAEW/ACCA/CPA, CFA, CSR-P) are advantageous.
  • Strong grasp over key ESG reporting frameworks, eg ISSB, TCFD, TNFD, GRI, CDP, SASB.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office, especially MS PowerPoint and Excel, and ability to develop presentation materials to a high quality with a short turnaround.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and spoken) skills, with ability to build relationships with and manage a range of different stakeholders, both external and internal.
  • Curious temperament, independent in learning, and self-starter with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective project management skills and ability to multi-task to deliver on varying priorities within a highly pressured and often shifting environment.
